Glas also introduced the coupé at the 1957 IFMA and it became the star of the show.

Besides the 250cc and 300cc engine option the coupe was also available with a 400cc engine. In 1964 Glas changed the "suicide" doors to conventional doors using hinges up front. This was really the only important change made until production stopped in 1969. Just like the sedan, individuals with the old driver license, category IV, bought these coupes, which allowed operation of motorcycles as well as automobiles with an engine displacement of up to 250cc. Altogether 66,511 copies were produced between 1957 and 1969. The prices in Germany were between US$890 and US$1000 but always about 10 to 20% more expensive than the sedan. This car was also exported to the US. For these models a 400cc motor with an oil automatic, to add the 2-cycle oil automatically to the fuel, was fitted. Headlights were changed to meet the US 7-inch sealed headlight regulation.
